Prehistoric carving discovered at the southeastern end of a private moorland on Weetwood Moor, located near Wooler, Northumberland. This ancient artwork is one of more than two dozen examples found in close proximity and is identified as 'Weetwood Moor 1c' within the Beckensall Archive (BA), where it's described as: 'The outcropping rock features a design that capitalizes on its natural irregularities: a deep cup is surrounded by a ridge, situated at the center of an inner groove and a second, incomplete pear-shaped groove that occupies a shallow depression in the surrounding terrain.' NADRAP added this archaeological record to ERA in 2008.
