Area of exposed outcrop located at the eastern end of Weetwood Moor, situated near Wooler, Northumberland. One of over two dozen carvings clustered together on Weetwood Moor. This area of exposure is cataloged as 'Weetwood Moor 1b' in the Beckensall Archive. NADRAP describes: "Motifs consist of one complex design featuring a single 6 cm cup, with two deep and wide grooves intersecting at right angles, each groove terminating in cups; one shallow cup and one oval countersunk cup eroded beyond recognition. Two other notable features (potentially erosion) are an elongated channel and an irregular shallow dish. A hole is present on the quarried edge due to erosion." NADRAP added this area to ERA in 2008. ERA record including BA material: https://archaeologydataservice.ac.uk/era/section/panel/overview.jsf?eraId=134 Historic England schedules this site as part of their List Entry Number 1415509.
