Weeping Angel Mask
thingiverse
The Weeping Angel, notorious for its ruthless capacity, possesses the ability to send its target hurtling back in time, allowing the Angel to feed on the lingering energy of a life not yet lived. -Design- This mask is based on one I found online, but it was badly damaged and woefully inadequate for its intended purpose. After scanning the mask, I used Blender to repair the damage, fix details, and make several adjustments and corrections. The mask has been cut in half to facilitate easier printing and ensure compatibility with most standard printers. It is designed to fit a normal human face, but if you're printing for children, be sure to scale it down accordingly. -Printing- To achieve optimal results, I printed this mask at 1.2mm wall thickness and 20% infill. If you plan on using thinner walls or less infill, you'll still get decent results. To print successfully, align the cut in the middle of the face along the bottom of the bed. -Finishing- I printed my copy in ABS plastic and used super glue and bondo to assemble both halves. Next, I vacuformed the final mask using a sheet of HIPS, and painted it with basic acrylic paint. To give the mask an even more menacing appearance, I filled in the eyes with see-through black cloth. -Enjoy-
