Weeping Angel Mask

Described as the universe's most ruthless time travelers, the touch of a Weeping Angel is capable of sending its target hurtling back through the ages, allowing the Angel to feast on the lingering energy of a life not yet lived. -Design- This mask was based off one I discovered online. The original mask was badly damaged and woefully inadequate for its intended purpose. After scanning the mask, I meticulously cleaned up the resulting mesh in Blender, erasing damage, fixing details, and making several additions and corrections. The mask is split into two halves to make printing easier and to accommodate most standard printers' beds. It's designed to fit the average human face, but if you're printing for children, be sure to scale it down accordingly. - Finishing - I printed my copy in high-quality ABS plastic and bonded the two halves together using super glue and a dash of bondo. I then vacuformed the final mask using a sheet of durable HIPS and brought out its menacing features with basic acrylic paint. To add an air of foreboding, I used transparent black cloth to fill in the eyes.
