This is a remix of the Falcon Heavy Rocket Lamp as well as a remix of Classic Rocket https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:580192 My friend has been begging me to 3D print him a "red rocket" for a while now, so I thought I would do him one better and create a fun lamp. I mostly followed the instructions from the original Falcon Heavy Rocket Lamp, but will make some notes here: Base was printed at 100% scale, as suggested. One thing I noted though, the rocker switch does not fit in the provided hole, and I had to use a dremel to cut it out more. I didn't want to reprint the base, because it took a significant amount of time, so this was sort of a dirty fix. I recommend fixing this in any CAD software. I printed this upside down with supports on an Ender 3 Exhaust was printed at 200% scale, because I couldn't go bigger on my Ender 3. I used 0 infill, but I recommend upping that, because the top insert snapped off after printing with no effort. I used a string of white filament and solder iron to re-attach it and strengthen it, and then filed it down with a dremel with nylon brush attachment to smooth it out. Printed with supports on Ender 3. The "rocket" was printed at 220% scale and 0 infill to get it to fit correctly. I may have measured things incorrectly, because when I originally printed it at 200% scale, it didn't fit. Printed on CR-6 SE. I may have purchased the wrong LED ring for the base, because mine was far too small to fit in the recess provided by the base. That said, I had to create an additional piece that would snugly hold the LED ring and the Arduino nano clone. Once I got everything wired up and inserted, I used a hot glue gun to secure the LED ring and nano, and then hot glued the assembly into the base. I used the FastLED script provided in the original make. Printed on CR-6 SE.
