I purchased the Weehoo trailer bike, expecting the seat post adapter to snugly encircle the seat post while loosely encompassing the coupling, ensuring the adapter remains stationary with respect to the seat post, allowing the coupling to revolve instead. However, upon inspection, I discovered that the authentic adapter loosely gripped the seat post, whereas it firmly enclosed the coupling. Feeling apprehensive about damaging my prized seat post, I created a bespoke adapter of my own design, one that better accommodates my unique seat post mount and also guarantees a tighter seal with both components. It's possible this design could be adapted for other Weehoo models as well, though further experimentation would be necessary to confirm its universality. For anyone seeking to manufacture an analogous adapter, the provided .stl-file should accurately reproduce the design when mated with a seat post boasting a 26.8mm diameter. Individuals in possession of alternate seat post configurations can still fabricate their own custom adapters by revising the parameters listed within the .scad-file.
