EDIT - Use V2. The first version had errors. WEEDO X40 FAN DUCT. I FOUND THAT THE STOCK FAN DUCT BLEW AIR DIRECTLY ONTO THE HEATER BLOCK WHICH THEN DEFLECTED DOWNWARDS TO THE REGION WHERE IT NEEDED TO GO. THIS CAUSED 2 ISSUES - 1. INCORRECT NOZZLE COOLING.2. FLUCTUATIONS IN HEATER BLOCK TEMPERATURES. I CREATED THIS MODEL BASED ON THE EXISTING FAN DUCT BUT EXTENDED THE DUCT DOWNWARDS TOWARDS THE NOZZLE SO THE AIR CAN BLOW AT THE BASE OF THE NOZZLE TIP. NOT AGAINST THE HEATER BLOCK. SO WITH THIS MODEL THE END OF THE FANDUCT SITS ABOUT 2 MM AWAY FROM THE HEATER BLOCK. i RECOMMEND USING A HI TEMP FILAMENT. I USED 3DXTECH CF NYLON PA6 GEN3 - SERIOUSLY STRONG STUFF! IF YOU USE PLA IT WILL WARP OVER TIME AND SAG DOWN AND SCRAP ON YOUR PARTS, YES I LEARNT THIS FROM MAKING THIS MISTAKE. THIS MODEL DOES NOT INTERFERE WITH THE BRUSH WIPES OR THE OTHER EXTRUDER. PRINT WITH DUCT HOLE LEVEL WITH BED WITH NO SUPPORTS. I PRINTED WITH A SUPPORT BLOCKER INSIDE THE DUCT AND IT WORKED FINE ENSURE YOUR HEATER BLOCKS ARE TIGHT AND SIT SQUARE. THE DESIGN OF THE KEYWAY ON THE HEATBREAKS ENABLES THE HEATER BLOCK TO TURN OVER TIME SO BEWARE! I RECCOMEND SANDING THE BOTTOM OF THE DUCT LEVEL TO GET A NICE FLAT SMOOTH EDGE TO INSTALL, YOU WILL NEED TO REMOVE THE BLACK FAN SHOUD AND UNDO 2 VERY SMALL HEX SCREWS AND CHANGE DUCTS. BE VERY CAREFUL DOING THIS AND BE SAFE - UNPLUG THE MACHINE... PLEASE BE SURE TO CHECK MY OTHER MODELS INCLUDING THE BETTER BRUSH WIPES FOR THIS PRINTER.
