Weed Pollen - Kief Shaker
thingiverse
Hi Mates, I'm excited to share my latest revision of the pollen shaker with you all. To get started, you'll need the following parts: * 2 prints made from ABS plastic with 100% infill - each print takes around 6 hours and 30 minutes * 2 twist-off jars with a TO82 cover - I used old olive jars, but you can use any jar with an outside diameter of approximately 85mm * 6 M5 nuts (DIN 934) * 6 M5 screws (DIN 912) with a length of 10mm - I used longer screws, but you can use the standard length * A piece of stainless steel mesh or Kanthal A1 mesh - I'm using a 200-mesh screen from my e-cigarette, but you can experiment with different sizes and materials You can order a sheet of mesh in DIN A4 size for around 10€. Feel free to experiment with different sizes or make two shakers with different mesh sizes for your first and second shake. Assembly is easy: 1. Place the mesh between the two printed parts. 2. Punch a hole in the mesh and insert the screws separately. 3. Stretch the mesh gently as you screw it into place. 4. Cut any excess mesh with scissors. After assembly, simply attach the shaker to your jar and start shaking! There are many ways to shake kief - some people use dry ice, others use weed from the fridge or just grind up their weed without any additional ingredients. Feel free to experiment! When you're done shaking, your jar will be covered in kief. Use a small brush to sweep away the excess dust. I hope you have fun with this project! If you make one, I'd love to see it. Remember, this is for medical use only!
