Weed Eater Barracuda Leaf Blower fan guard
prusaprinters
The hinge bracket on the bottom of the leaf blower that holds the flip-out fan guard so that the device can be used as a leaf vac broke. Since the bracket is part of the main body housing, I couldn't just print a replacement for it, so I made a replacement fan guard that snaps into place. The printed guard doesn't 100% match the uploaded STL. After I started the print, I decided to add an angle brace to the snap leaves to give it a little more strength. As it is, it's a bit of a loose fit, but I think it should stay in with regular usage. If it falls out, I'll update the model to have a larger diameter on the cylinders on the ends. Print Settings Printer: Anet A8 Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Resolution: .2mm Infill: at least 20% Notes: I used 4 top & bottom layers, 4 perimeters. You need some infill to give the flat surfaces something to lay on during printing.. 20% seemed to work on mine. Category: Replacement Parts
