Wedge shoe for dolls

Wedge shoe for dolls

Hi folks! I'm excited to share a super simple wedge shoe design that perfectly fits vintage Jem dolls. I highly recommend printing with pure PLA, as they turned out amazingly well, but you can also try wood-type PLA for a unique look. My prints came out great without rafts because the shoe is quite large and sturdy, but the wood-type PLA did cause some sticking issues on my print bed. To create the decorative strap, use a ribbon that's about 5mm wide. Carefully pull it over the doll's foot until it fits comfortably - be careful not to make it too tight. Using a needle and thread, sew the ends together securely. Then, gently push the seam inside so it's out of sight. This is just my preferred method since I dislike using glue, but feel free to share your own creative solutions in the comments!
