Wedge Sandal
pinshape
Summary These sandals are similar to my Wu Ying sandals but without the drawer. I printed them using wood filament and then sanded and finished them. You can see pictures of that process at http://imgur.com/a/uAFjf. They are certainly wearable, just like any store-bought sandals of the same height. A short video shows them being worn: http://sendvid.com/jkiis66m. You can edit this design on TinkerCad here: https://tinkercad.com/things/gU8pC4ZNky4. Remember to ungroup the strap-holes before resizing, and use the Z axis alone to lower the height to your comfort level. After making changes, use the Mirror function to create a left shoe. Instructions Print with .3 layer height and 20% infill using wood filament. I recommend .2 layer height for faster sanding. Use 180, 240, 320, 400, and 600 grit sandpaper to sand, then apply two coats of finish. Three coats would be even better.
