Wedge Sandal
cults3d
As requested, these custom sandals are similar to my Wu Ying sandals but without the drawer feature. I created them by printing with wood filament and then carefully sanded and finished them to perfection. You can view detailed pictures of the process here: http://imgur.com/a/uAFjf. I'm pleased to report that they are certainly wearable, at least as comfortable as any store-bought sandals of the same height. For a quick glimpse of how they perform in real-world conditions, check out this short video here: http://sendvid.com/jkiis66m. If you're interested in customizing these sandals further, I've uploaded the editable file to TinkerCad, where you can access it here: https://tinkercad.com/things/gU8pC4ZNky4. When making changes, remember to "ungroup" the strap-holes before resizing them to ensure accuracy. Additionally, scaling on the Z-axis alone will allow you to lower the height of the sandals to a comfortable level for your personal preference. Once you're satisfied with your modifications, use the "Mirror" function to create the left shoe, effectively creating a matching pair.
With this file you will be able to print Wedge Sandal with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Wedge Sandal.
