Wedge Pegboard Storage Wall System - Secure, No Supports

I never liked how loose traditional pegboard hangers are. I was inspired by David Warboss's Pegboard system hangers that use keyholes instead of round holes, similar to how boltless shelving goes together.

Most pegboards are designed to work with hangers that are wire formed or punched. Using no support material as a constraint, I asked myself “what if a pegboard were designed for 3D printable hangers?”

The intent of this design is that the pegboard can be laser cut from 1/8" acrylic in whatever size you need (most signmakers should be able to do this for a small fee if you don't have access to one).

I've shown a few hook and bin configurations as examples, but this attachment can be used for whatever custom hanger you need.

The original Onshape files are here, including configurable versions of the hooks and bins from which you can export STL or STP files.

Start with the Fit Check to ensure the attachment seats well into the board (the attachment thickness/offset may need to be adjusted if the board thickness isn't exactly 1/8" or for 3D printer tolerance (0.005" tolerance to the tabs worked for me)). This is designed to work around a nominal board thickness of 1/8" - if you'd like to use 1/4" board then scale the attachment and holes up by 2.
