wedge for shower door
thingiverse
This is a shower door wedge that attaches to the bottom of the shower door. It redirects water flowing from the door back inside the shower. Based on a standard width of 26 inches, this design can be printed three times to match the door's width. The rear support is angled at 10 degrees inward, ensuring a snug fit without requiring adhesive or silicone. When printing with standard PLA filament, I recommend using water-resistant spray paint suitable for outdoor use, matching the frame's color (chrome, bronze, etc.). Ideally, this should be printed with nylon, although I haven't had much success with it yet. In the future, I plan to add a bottom fin that can be trimmed to fit the gap between the door threshold. Update: I successfully printed this design in PETG, but had to adjust my slicer settings to slow down the first layer's print speed to 20% for the first layer to stick properly.
