After printing out that thing from Thingiverse (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2764869), I discovered it wouldn't stay attached to its transmitter on its own, despite appearances suggesting otherwise - the presence of what appear to be spring-loaded components around the stick was misleading, as they failed to provide a gripping function. To resolve this issue, I created a simple wedge that proved effective and easy to install.
