Wedding Cake Topper

Get ready for an exciting event! Our wedding guests will each receive a slice of cake, complete with a personalized cake topper. After searching through Google's 3D Warehouse, I couldn't find a satisfactory design. So, I created my own simple model featuring the bride, groom, arm, leg, and hat, all made from spheres, cylinders, and cubes as seen in the exploded view. To document this special moment, I made a video using OpenShot, which you can watch here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yzL391LfsvE. My blog post on the subject can be found here: http://bit.ly/flossWedding. The groom figure, without his hat, is generic enough to be reused and customized by adjusting arm and leg orientations. To assemble the topper, print the bride, groom, and hat, then glue them onto a piece of acrylic for stability. Use your future spouse's nail polish for the skin tone, with their permission! Finish the look with a small flower accents. For rendering, use the 'explode' openSCAD file, adjusting the 'explode' variable to control part spreading in the animated view. Export images can be combined into a movie in OpenShot for a stunning visual presentation.
