Weber GENESIS Grill Caster/Wheel Retrofit Adapter Insert

The Weber Genesis is a great grill but unfortunately the casters are pretty miserable. Not only are they too small but they wear out very quickly and do not push easily on uneven pavement. Once they wear out replacement wheels run about $33 each and in my opinion this is way to much for a 15+ year old grill. What I have designed are replacement inserts that allow you to use any desk chair wheel or caster. These are slightly different and will not fit in the original inserts but an entire set can be acquired off an old chair or amazon for less than the cost of one wheel. Plus they work way better. Just pop your old inserts out with the old wheel and replace. Use a flat-head screwdriver with a hammer if they do not want to come out.
