Weber Baby Q Q1200 Paper Towel Holder
thingiverse
I saw a few paper towel dispensers designed specifically for Weber Q's, but the Baby Q is significantly smaller, making it difficult to fit standard dispensers. The existing ones wouldn't work with paper towels due to size constraints. However, I found that the standard 9" / 220mm paper towel width fits perfectly (up to around 260mm max). So far, I haven't experimented with extra large or supersize double-length rolls of paper. To make it easier to mount, I inserted a slightly smaller cardboard tube between the left-hand rollers and right-hand rollers. If you prefer a thicker roller, you can use the one from SeveQ's design. To secure the holder to the side table, I used 4x 6G *18mm sheet metal screws. For accurate and snug mounting holes, I employed Luumi's holder, and modified SteveQ's paper towel holder to allow for folding the tables up without the paper towel falling out. This is a crucial feature when transporting the Weber. I plan to revisit this design in the future as it doesn't currently allow me to fold the side tables inside the Weber for transport. To address this issue, I may create a modular or removable mount for one side of the holder. To assemble the dispenser, you'll need to print 2 holders and 2 rollers (or use an alternative tube to hold the towel).
