Webcam Stand for Logitech QuickCam S5500, Eyeball Camera
thingiverse
I needed a mount to position my Logitech webcam on my printer so I could keep an eye on the prints coming out of it. This mount is specifically designed for the Folgertech Prusa i3 2020 variant, but it can also be used with any other 2020 aluminum beam frame printer. It attaches securely to the rail using two 3mm or 4mm screws. If you don't have T-nuts available, you can easily print some from here: just go to http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1285301/#files and download the 3mm_T-nuts part - it's as simple as pressing a regular 3mm nut into place. I made an update to the models to give them more engagement at the nub where the stand meets the mount. This was necessary because mine kept falling off when I bumped the camera, so I lengthened the nub slightly. Additionally, I added a model of the assembly for viewing purposes only - it's not intended for printing. Print Settings: Printer: Folgertech Prusa i3 2020 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 25% Notes: The stand has a slight angle but doesn't need supports and prints upright with ease.
