Webcam privacy cover/polarizing filter frame
thingiverse
As a glasses wearer, I got fed up with glare from my screen in my webcam. I bought some cheap polarizing film and needed a way to mount it that wasn't just bits of tape. I added a privacy cover as well. There's 3 parts, the bottom ring has a small inset to allow you to cut out a piece of polarizing film. The middle part simply glues onto that, and the top bit is a movable privacy flipper. Attach to your webcam with some double-sided tape. Note that, depending on your tolerances, you may need to drill out the hole on the privacy flipper a bit. I tried to make it tight to prevent it from falling off. This is designed for a Logitech c270, but as long as your lens is smaller than 12mm, you should be good.
