To avoid being tethered to my time-consuming prints, I installed a 3MP Elcom webcam with 720p HD video capture capabilities. Its rotating mount inspired me to design a replacement part that snaps onto the top front edge of my Tantillus printer case, featuring a PLA construction with 150 micron layers and 15% infill. Note that this modification may require adjustments for variations in the acrylic case, especially on prototype units like mine.
