Webcam module case for desktop PC usage
thingiverse
I made this project to recycle a working webcam module from my old laptop HP Pavilion dv6000, in order to use it as a standard USB webcam on my desktop PC. As shown in pictures, I created a customised 2 parts case to fit the webcam module, then I added a simple folding arm to allow the webcam to fit on (any) monitor. I suppose this case fits other webcam modules but, if not, it can probably be easy adapted. Standard M4 screws and bolts are required to complete the assembly. Note: detailed instructions for connecting a standard USB cable (also recycled!) to the webcam module can be easily found on the internet.
