This webcam has been modified from its original form by making some key changes. Firstly, the lens was removed and then rotated 180 degrees to allow for magnification capabilities. Additionally, the green LED light was replaced with an 0805 warm white LED that provides a softer glow. The screws holding the housing together are 1.4mm x 10mm Phillips head fasteners. Furthermore, this modified webcam can be secured to a M4 threaded surface, offering greater stability. To enhance illumination, a small piece of tin foil was carefully glued onto the top of the lid, allowing for improved lighting conditions.
