Webcam holder for ENDER 3 PRO
thingiverse
I have a "headless" Ender 3 Pro, running Octopi on a Raspberry Pi 3, and I wanted to monitor my 3D prints with a camera. I picked up an older Logitech webcam at the local thrift store, and it connected fine. So I made a mount using three GoPro-style arms and some fixtures that would fasten the camera to the 2020 upper rail. However, the top-down view was obscured by the extruder assembly. I realized that I could rest the camera on my Pi 3 case, which was mounted on the 4040 rail where my display used to be. This gave a good view of the printing process, but was a bit low. So I made a piece that would slide onto the rail, with a GoPro-style mount on top, angled 45 degrees. I mounted a GoPro-style arm to it, and on the other end I added a box that my the arm on my webcam could slide into, angled back 22 degrees. This mount can thus be moved up and down, and it also slides forth and back along the rail
