Webcam Camera Platform for T-slot printer frame

Set your laptop webcam on a sturdy platform specifically designed for T-slot framed 3D printers. This setup is ideal for cameras equipped with L-shaped brackets that normally hang over the screen of your laptop. Using T-slot components allows you to easily swivel the camera view as needed. The photos demonstrate the platform, the camera positioned on it, and the view from the camera displayed on the Octoprint Control page. I utilize Octoprint to adjust the z-axis when necessary. If you tend to manually move your z-axis by twisting each coupling, you'll need to relocate the platform further down the frame out of the way. Camera tip: With this type of camera, the focal length is significantly off. From the factory, it's set up to capture objects about a foot or two away from the lens. Since this camera is several centimeters from what you want to see, you'll need to open the camera and adjust the focus inside.
