I decided to temporarily secure a work light to the square post of my back patio without making any permanent changes. To achieve this, I utilized a 1-inch wide tie-down strap that effectively captured the mounting plate. By providing some bolt holes in the plate, it became adaptable for attaching any custom device I required. The assembly consists of the webbing (orange), a shelf bracket (gray), and a basic "tool end" (blue) connected seamlessly together.
