WARNING after several months of daily use I'm starting to notice some breakages, so be extremely cautious when using these for anything. Specifically with petg, it appears to become crystalline and brittle over time, making it likely that it will break sooner or later. Don't use them for something where the consequences of a break are severe! There have been two types of breakages reported so far - the first occurs at the hinge of the carabiner, while the second happens at the loop for the middle of the strap. I've replaced the loop with an improved version that should last longer and added a new design for the carabiner with a more flexible hinge section. However, I haven't extensively tested the new hinge yet, so its durability is still unknown. A simple clip designed to work seamlessly with 1" webbing. I required three of these clips to create a lightweight replacement for part of a dog harness - two with terminals that the webbing wraps around and one in the middle with a straightforward loop for the webbing to pass through. The flex in the hinge of the carabiner is precisely what I was aiming for when printing with PETG. Most of the parts need to be rotated during printing, as their orientation seems somewhat random - I started with the clip and designed the other components around it. You'll find that the terminal prints without supports if you rotate it so that the bar the webbing wraps around is on the bottom (leaving the cutout on top). The clamp lies flat for optimal print-head movement, but one side has a bevel to make it easier to slide onto the terminal - ensure this bevel is facing up when printing. Update: I encountered problems with the webbing slipping in the terminals, so I've revised them to have a tighter fit with more aggressive angles. Additionally, I added a simple clamp that slides over the webbing end of the terminal. Thread the webbing through the clamp before threading it through the terminal, then slide the clamp over both the webbing and the terminal to secure everything in place.
