web clamp adapter for quick-change bar clamp and nylon strap
thingiverse
I headed to Clas Ohlson, determined to track down a web clamp, but all they had was a squeeze-handle mini bar clamp with the Cocraft brand name plastered on it – much like most of their tools. I took matters into my own hands and crafted adapters to secure 15mm nylon webbing onto the jaws, effectively turning it into a makeshift web clamp. It works surprisingly well, especially when gripping round or irregularly shaped objects while applying glue. Evidently, the same clamps are sold worldwide under different brand names – a clever marketing ploy if I ever saw one. This design is highly customizable, accommodating various dimensions with ease. The OpenSCAD code's modular structure makes it an excellent starting point for any number of creative projects you'd like to attach to your clamp jaws.
