## Weaver Rail for Dewalt Power Tools I whipped up a Weaver rail for Dewalt tools to use a quick-release belt attachment designed to mount on these rails (often used to attach scopes etc., to riles). ### Selecting Size After noticing different batteries require different clearances, I added 4 additional versions, each with a 1mm increase to give clearance for batteries. _I've found the +5mm STL works well for the small 2Ah batteries, and the original STL works well for the big multi-volt batteries._ _I'm using the +5mm version to ensure compatibility with whatever battery I pickup._ ### Fitting The part fits in where the belt hooks and bit holders are usually connected. Compatible with the small screws provided with the belt hooks etc. There is a thread to ensure a tight fit between the part and the tool's base. Some of my prints required a light sand of the tooth that connects into the base of the drill. ### Application - Belt Attachment It works a treat for connecting to my belt attachment. There are similar products I've seen that this should work for too. _And if you really wanted, you could have a laser sight on your drill for improved hip fire accuracy._
