Weather Thing
thingiverse
### Updated the part - added vent holes and changed display mounting plate. A widget for plugging into USB chargers, when they're not charging your phone. It's an electronics project built using ESP8266 and OLED screen. The cost of the electronics is under eight bucks, but the frustration of soldering wires on pins that are barely visible is priceless. This widget has a tilt switch to change from landscape to portrait mode. The source code is available here: https://github.com/ardyesp/WeatherDisplay It connects to your home WiFi network and periodically requests current and forecast weather from http://openweathermap.org It's still a work in progress, but it shows great promise for tracking the weather in real-time.
