Weather Station Soft Soil Stand / Tripod

Weather Station Soft Soil Stand / Tripod

thingiverse

I crafted a sturdy support for my weather station by merging the Vine tepee and Solar Light Stakes in Tinkercad. The design kept my weather station stable even on soft garden soil, thanks to its clever hole-in-the-middle feature with a 22mm diameter that allows a 2cm pole to slide smoothly inside. This thoughtful detail also accounts for ABS shrinkage during printing. For optimal durability outdoors, I strongly advise against using PLA and instead opt for more resilient materials. To secure the stakes to the center stand, I employed three robust M4 bolts measuring 35mm each. Following the print process, a clear coat lacquer will be applied to seal the support and prevent water absorption.
