Weather Station Fan Driven Thermometer Shield
thingiverse
This is an enclosure for a temperature and RH sensor. The PCB mounts into the slot on the bottom cover. An 80mm fan mounts in the middle section. The top section is available for mounting electronics e.g. transmitter, microcontroller. I have a complete project for this on wordpress - see andypageelectronics.wordpress.com. The enclosure is held together using M4 stud and M4 washers and nuts. The fan draws the air up from the bottom over the sensor and then blows it out the sides. The enclosure has multiple walls to keep the sensor area from being affected by sunlight. The gap between the inner and second walls has air drawn through it which helps to insulate the central section.
