Weather Station

Weather Station

thingiverse

This outdoor weather station features a rain gauge, and I've deliberately omitted the esp8266 circuitry and sensors, choosing instead to create an html page on my website where users can access the lua code and electronic components used. The device itself is based around an esp8266 module paired with a dht22 temperature and humidity sensor, a light sensor, and a magnetic switch to monitor the rain gauge's position. After a few days of printing, I finally completed the entire project. To house the light sensor, you'll need to glue transparent plastic over the hole in the roof. The component case serves as a home for the battery and remaining electronics.
