Weather Station Box

Weather Station Box

thingiverse

I've always wanted to set up a backyard weather station that can record not just temperature data, but also humidity, pressure, rainfall, and wind speed. My recent experiments led me to the ESP8266 NodeMCU, a low-cost microcontroller with built-in WiFi capabilities. All I needed to do was add a solar cell, a battery, some sensors, and an enclosure. This model is the enclosure that houses the battery, circuit, and sensors. This design includes two printable objects: the vented box and a snap-on cover. - Check out my step-by-step guide on how to build this project at https://www.jasonacox.com/wordpress/archives/506 - Find the code and circuit design for this project on GitHub at https://github.com/jasonacox/WeatherStationWiFi - See the 3D model of this enclosure on Tinkercad at https://www.tinkercad.com/things/9Yq7LzrafKz
