This is a weather station created using arduino, laser cutting, and 3d printing. The weather station gets information from wunderground.com and displays it on a split-flap display. This device was made and built as an exercise in the Mechatronics Engineering Design course at the Technical University of Denmark in the spring semester of 2015. Group 4 created it, you can find more info about this project on antiheltene.wordpress.com. Parts required: 1x Arduino Uno board, 1x breadboard, 1x ESP8266 wifi module, 1x 3.3V power supply unit, 2x stepper motors, 2x GP1A51HRJ00F photointerrupter sensor modules, 4x small 5x11x4 mm ballbearings, several M3 bolts and nuts, multiple jumper cables, a USB or 12v power source, laser-cut components include display drum, flaps, gears, case, and a bearing holder which was 3D printed along with wall mount components.
