Weather Station
thingiverse
Housing for a Solar-Powered Weather Station. Utilizing discarded solar panels and battery modules sourced from standard garden lights, an angled box provides optimal exposure to the sun's energy. Within this Stevenson Shade housing unit, vital electronic components and temperature/humidity sensors are neatly arranged. My weather station model runs on 3 readily available AA batteries, integrating the reliable ESP8266 Wi-Fi module with a DHT22 sensor that accurately tracks local temperature and humidity fluctuations. The collected data is automatically uploaded online every ten minutes. So far, my weather station has withstood the rigors of an entire summer; now it remains to be seen how it will fare against Canada's harsh winters.
