Weather Box is a portable weather station crafted from Texas Instruments SensorTag. This innovative device consists of a 3D-printed housing that shelters SensorTag, an external microcontroller, battery, and relay. The relay plays a crucial role in "switching" the SensorTag advertising switch on and off. The timing for this operation is controlled by the external microcontroller, ensuring precise management of the sensor's functionality. During periods of inactivity, the microcontroller enters a state of deep sleep, thereby conserving battery life and extending its overall lifespan to over 100 days.
