An innovative Atmospheric Water Generator named NBD is designed to collect water for regions with scarcity. The system uses a weather balloon coated with NBD material, anchored high in the air. Condensed water from the balloon's surface flows down and is channeled into a tube, which also functions as an anchor. This design leverages pre-existing products, keeping production costs low while maximizing research investment. Water collection benefits from cloud layer conditions with increased wind flow, higher humidity, and colder temperatures, accelerating condensation rates. The simple setup and usage make it ideal for areas where rain is scarce but the cloud layer is present. However, if the weather balloon proves insufficient in structure or rigidity, an internal blimp-like design could be considered. As a student, file access may be limited to the SW Student Design Kit.
