Feel free to print and sell prints/props/casts molds, whatever - it's all yours! Your time, your plastic, go for it. This is a fan-based model, so I don't hold the rights to it. That means responsibility falls on the maker if you're selling props. Update 28/10/2015 I've made a small modification to parts three and four. If you've already printed them, sorry about that, but it was an addition not a fix! I put the small details that go on the sides of the helmet - the little round bits. I've also uploaded the full helmet in one massive STL. If your printer is big enough to print it in one go, then you're way ahead of me! As promised to many people, here's the Episode VII wearable helmet. It's significantly different from the other smaller Ep7 helmets now that it follows the contour more like what we've seen in the trailers. I based the size of this on my previous Stormtrooper helmet, which was 33cm wide. This new one is 30cm wide because it doesn't have a rebreather on both sides like the new version. All pieces are plated ready to print, checked for errors, and all parts triple-checked to make sure they're the right number, etc. The YouTube video explains the parts and where they go - you can find it below or in the thumbnails above. I haven't had a chance to print this yet, and I probably won't until after the movie. So, in the spirit of good will and fellow Star Wars fans, here are the parts. If there are any issues at all, please let me know and I'll correct them ASAP, but I've been pretty thorough on this one so I'm hoping it should be smooth sailing. Supports: Yes. Resolution: 0.3 is okay because it's going to be sanded. Infill: Very low, or none at all. Use two to three walls/shells. Notes: All parts were designed for a Makerbot Replicator or Flashforge-sized machine (22cm x 14x15). If you need something cut into smaller pieces, please message me.
