Wearable Clone Trooper Armor
thingiverse
This is a remixed version of MasterDarkOnyx's Clone trooper, scaled up to approximately 6'2" and converted into wearable pieces. I created this remix to utilize some of the components for a Clone Wars Obi Wan costume, but I thought it would be more interesting to do the entire thing. Since every individual will have a different size printer, I decided not to chop the files in half. Fortunately, I possess an enormous printer that allows me to print most of the parts in one or two pieces at a time. To facilitate this process, I included the Meshmixer file that I worked off of for anyone who wishes to modify it. Post-Printing Finishing I am still in the midst of finishing the pieces and will update this post accordingly. In an attempt to fill the grooves, I mixed spackle with water to achieve a pancake batter consistency and then brushed it on. We shall see how effective this method proves to be. Additionally, I plan to try using a spray-on filler/primer to complete the finishing process.
