Wearable Arc Reactor
thingiverse
Create an arc reactor mimicking Mark I movie version, featuring 14 white and 10 optional blue 5mm LEDs. Assemble the parts with 5 M3x10 screws and nuts, excluding the base. For a better appearance, print the crystal in clear PLA and other components in dark colors. Employ low rectilinear infill and no more than two shells for crystal printing. Stick aluminum tape on the underside of non-translucent parts (optional). Install white LEDs in uncovered holes from above, with optional blue LEDs in other holes to give a bluish glow to the outer ring. The wiring configuration depends upon your LEDs and power source; a 9V battery powers the described circuit. Cut a hole in a T-shirt for crystal insertion, secure it with screws, and fasten the reactor using a belt looped around your chest. Attach the wire from the pocket's 9V battery to complete the project. However, avoid carrying this on planes.
