Weapons Cache for 28mm Gaming

Another terrain piece for the modern/sci-fi wargaming table. Might make a nice objective. I've been wanting to take one of my bombed-out buildings and make it more visually interesting, so I grabbed onebitpixel's crate and Forpost_D6's rifles to create a weapons cache. As with the Rhino and Dreadnought, I placed them on an automatically generated terrain outline and topo, then adjusted the topo to get the borders down to around 1mm and roughen up around the building itself. I had noticed jestin's cinderblock the other day, thought that would be a nice addition. 12/14/2016: kabniel has done a nice remix without the guns in the box, which is easier to print and more generally useful. Notes: I've bumped up the scale of Forpost_D6's rifle in the width and height by 50%, makes them look a little more like standard GW weapons. Print Settings Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Doesn't Matter Resolution: 0.1mm layers Notes: I've printed those rifles at 0.1mm layers before, and they looked good. I'm expecting to need to do the same with this model in order for the rifles to be recognizable. I'd be happy to be corrected, though! I've tried to build the supports for the rifles in, so there shouldn't be much need for support for this model, other than possibly in the hole through the wall. How I Designed This This was all Blender, other than a little OpenSCAD to generate the topo and outline, with netFabb to clean things up as I went. Category: Toy & Game Accessories
