We3 Drill Head Rat

This is a custom-built model based on a creature from the 2004 DC Comics/Vertigo series "We3" by Grant Morrison and Frank Quitely. In the comic, researchers experiment with small domestic animals, transforming them into deadly machines. One scene showcases lab rats with various limbs replaced with power tools, rapidly constructing a jet engine. One rat in this scene has a power drill for its head. I was unable to find any existing models based on this work, so I decided to create my own. This is simply a model of a rat with the head provided by a reduced model of a power drill. My goal is to add the antennae and housing seen in the comics page, and I hope other makers will join me in creating the other creatures from the series.
