If you use a WE G39 GBB airsoft rifle, you can install these rings between part no. 7 and part no. 9 to decrease the energy output significantly. For example, the long version of the G39 shoots with an impressive 2.4 Joules. However, when you add a 1mm ring, the energy drops down to 2.0 Joules, while a 1.4mm ring reduces it even further to 1.7 Joules. Note that I haven't tested this setup on a VFC G36 GBB airsoft rifle.
