Given the scarcity of Judge Dredd COMIC models, as finished toys or statues, I present this design as part one of a two-part diorama available for purchase together soon, complete with a stand to enhance the scene. Inspired by the iconic uniform designs in the 2012 Dredd movie, particularly the distinctive flack jacket, both parts were meticulously crafted from SVG files imported into 123D. By carefully "pulling" and creating primitives, I achieved precise details loaded into Zbrush core for sculpting. The finished model was then imported into Meshmixer to refine the mesh, applying Boolean operations to solidify shapes. A high-resolution file boasting plenty of intricate details and accompanying instructions ensures that every component fits together seamlessly. Part of the original design, as depicted in these pictures, is free - the torso and head. For the full version, simply refer to the link below. The numerous components were extensively tested and refined, requiring 7 different torso iterations, (including multiple modifications), two arm prints, two leg versions to fine-tune creases, folds, and other delicate details. The three initial hairstyles sculptured had to be adjusted and printed before arriving at the one featured here. Every element of this design was crafted with meticulous attention, taking into consideration user preferences when sharing models like these - that's why I'm thrilled to provide easy-print versions following settings outlined in a PDF file. Conception and modelling took an astonishing 225 hours. Additional 52 hours were dedicated to printing, refining models due to the inevitable failures and testing - rest assured every piece was exhaustively reviewed to guarantee successful prints by strictly adhering to the guide provided within the files. As I design my creations for my own personal enjoyment first, my rule remains that once released these designs are solely intended to bring delight - refrain from attempting any repairs, adjustments or redistributions of my models. Don't even think about remixing anything without contacting me - it's crucial I personally inspect and rectify any faults you encounter so we can enjoy flawless creations. Remember: my ultimate goal is sharing for your pleasure - simply follow instructions and prepare to be impressed! The 3D printer has indeed proven a remarkable tool - but sometimes people scale models down, modify or alter settings without regard for their initial design intent. Be mindful not to reduce infill rates, layers etc because as shown in the photographs these models were specifically tailored for precise results.
