We are the Law- Judge Anderson Torso Free Model 5 – by SPARX
cults3d
Given the scarcity of Judge Dredd COMIC models available as finished toys, statues, etc., and the near-absence of Dredd movie 2012 toys, I offer this model as part one of a two-part diorama that can be purchased together soon and completed with a stand to finish the scene. I share my work for others to enjoy. Please do not share these files on social media or other websites. Links to this page are acceptable. The design of both uniforms, especially the Dredd movie flack jacket, is particularly noteworthy. All parts were designed from SVG files loaded into 123D and "pulled" into primitives. They were then loaded into Zbrush Core for sculpting, followed by a final load into Meshmixer to create solids and perform Boolean operations. The mesh was reduced on certain areas to achieve high resolution and detailed results, along with full instructions. Partial Files Read: This part of the model is only the torso and head, available for free as shown in the pictures. To obtain the full version, see below. All parts have been printed and developed to print, even if it meant 7 different torsos (yes, 7 torsos were used to develop right arm and gun prints, and 2 different legs to adjust thickness and detail in creases, etc.). Four hair styles were sculpted and 3 printed before settling on the one included. All pieces have been tested and print out very easily as long as you follow the settings in the PDF file. The whole diorama and both models took a total of 225 hours for concept and modeling, and 52 hours for printing various failures, mods, etc. All pieces have been thoroughly tested to ensure they print out smoothly with ease. All of my models are only released when they can print! Please do not remix or "fix" faults in this model then republish! If there is a fault, please let me know – message me and I will answer and fix the problem. Apart from that, print, enjoy! Firstly, thanks to all who have followed me or downloaded my free models over the past year or so. I hope you have enjoyed them as much as I have making them. I make these models for my own collection but am always open to suggestions of content for models covering the DC and Marvel universe, as well as TV and film cult images like Barbarella. If you have any ideas, please message me. What I also notice about free items is that people download everything or save it to a collection – but very rarely upload a printed version for us all to see. "Collectors" So my theory is that many of my downloads are sitting on a hard drive rather than being displayed on a shelf to be handled and enjoyed. This model is only partially free, with the following provisions: 1. The head and torso of Anderson will be free to download, allowing people to judge the quality and fit of the model. 2. All pictures of the 3D model will be available on this site for "collectors". 3. All files for download will be available on another website for purchase at a very small fee. You can collect the art, download some parts of the model for free, and when you want to finish your prints, search Yeggi for "by Sparx" or We are the Law to find it housed on Cults website: https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/art/we-are-the-law-judge-anderson-hershey-bimbo-series-5-6-by-sparx. I hope I haven't offended anyone with my upload, as I believe the model is great and worthy of printing. But I am biased. As for why the detail is so prominent (not just the Bimbo bits), but also the tears in the suit folds in cloth, etc., on my models – well, they are primarily made/designed for my own collection. I always sand down with fine emery and subject the models to an Acetone vapour bath for 60 seconds. This seals the shells and makes a smoother appearance but removes some detail. Hence, I build more detail into the model. Hope you like it!
