These files can be used to construct a 16mm scale steel framed bogie as used on War Department Light Railways for D class, E class, F class and H class wagons as well as various vans and conversions. After the First World War such bogies were to be found on wagons and coaches built in the inter-war period. Please be aware that WDLR bogies are available form a number of suppliers, many of which will be more robust or better detailed than this Thing. However if you want something that looks about right to use whilst you save up to buy a better product then these may well suit your need. For each bogie you will need, one off of each part except - 4 x wheels 4 x wheel spacing washers 2 x brake blocks and 2 more printed as a mirror image 2 x back corner plates 4 x axle box covers You will also need materials for axles (2 x 2mm silver steel 56mm long). For vertical brake shaft (I used 1/16" rod threaded 10BA at the end, 70mm long) For brake cross shafts (2 x 38mm and 1 x 22mm rod 1mm diameter) See below for a link to pictures of assembling. I used Plastic Weld to join together plastic parts and super glue to join plastic to metal parts.
