Update: I'm experiencing cooling problems from specific angles due to the original duct design's limitations. I've since switched to the mk2 design, but I'm having trouble tracking down the link to the original design. If you recognize this as your work, please let me know so I can give you credit. As with the original design, the duct outlet features a blocking tab that prevents support from interfering, which needs to be removed after printing. To mount the stock cooling fan at the rear without custom bearing blocks or tapping existing holes in the aluminum block, I combined other people's models in Tinkercad, added stretched cubes and came up with this design. This was my third attempt as the first two were too small to span the gap and fit the fan. After printing, the fan adapter portion might require some filing down due to bridging/sag issues. The three small tabs below the air ducts are there to prevent support from building on the print bed in Cura from messing up the nozzles inside. Those areas shouldn't need support at all. It's also possible that this design will be noisier than the stock shroud. To ensure proper installation, home your Z-axis after attaching the shroud to avoid it getting torqued into the print bed. There should be about 5mm of clearance. Feel free to modify this design, but please give credit to the original designers as they deserve all the recognition.
