Wavy Football
thingiverse
This is a WaveyWednesday design that requires printing in vase mode with no bottom layers so pieces can slide together seamlessly. Its creator envisioned it fitting snugly inside, allowing for 0.4mm wall tolerance, but the wavy walls make it surprisingly pliable, suggesting a different nozzle size would be acceptable. While gluing isn't strictly necessary, doing so will significantly enhance its overall solidity. This design was printed using PETG. Update: Despite being a bit fragile, this WaveyWednesday creation has proven to be an excellent football for casual play in the living room. My son and I thoroughly enjoyed tossing it around until I inadvertently dropped it off a table, causing it to crack along a layer line. Thankfully, its performance was impressive considering the 0.4mm wall thickness.
