Wavy Clock

Wavy Clock

Just a Minute! Inspired by the #WaveyWednesday movement on Twitter, which was sparked by the wavy creations of Ferjerez, I created this "Wavy Clock". Made to take a clock movement and some clock hands, once printed, this can be hung in the home or office for a unique accent. While not particularly challenging to print, you may find some slicers don't slice it quite right in vase mode due to the hole in the center. Slic3r PE added extra layers to the top which, in turn, will mess up the spiral. Cura does a great job. Kisslicer appears to slice correctly, however, I have not tried printing gCode generated by Kisslicer for this model. Be sure, once you slice in vase mode, that you look at the preview mode in your slicer and ensure that the center hole is not covered and that the vase path looks valid. For an extra accent, if your printer supports it, try a layer change to highlight the numbers. If you like this model, please share it! If you print this model, consider posting your make! If you LOVE this and want to support my future work, consider a small tip - I promise I'll only use it for printing supplies!
